I really enjoy working in Internet marketing.  I think the principles of marketing are interesting, and I like working with clients to bring about some end result (usually selling a product or generating more website traffic).

Although I’ve learned a lot throughout the course of my career, I didn’t really go to school for marketing.  However, I am thinking about going back to school, and marketing is one of the topics I am considering: I want to be able to better help my clients.

There are a lot of schools that offer programs in marketing.  In their business administration programs Milwaukee schools such as Sanford Brown teach students about marketing and sales, as well as other things needed to run a business.  The Sanford Brown Lauderdale campus and the Sanford Brown Institute White Plains campus both have great business administration programs.

As a copywriter, I have found it very important to know about the various marketing techniques.  I would think that the same would be true for anyone in sales, as well as for traditional businesspeople.  Not only does knowing about marketing enable you to do your job better, but it also enables you to market yourself to hiring managers, supervisors, and anyone else who has a hand in hiring and promoting you!
