College Should Help You Do What You Love

Many people struggle with the choice about what to major in during college. They make their decisions based on a number of factors. However, the most important question to answer should be, “do I really enjoy this?” You should spend your college years learning about a field that interests you.
If you don’t know what interests you, look to your hobbies. Since you do them in your spare time, you’d probably enjoy doing them full time. Spend all day playing video games? Maybe you should get a degree in game design from Collins graphic design school. Love to snap candid pictures? A degree from Brooks Institute photography school could turn that into a lucrative career. Constantly rearranging your furniture? Check out the Harrington interior design program.
If you’re still stuck with what to do, perhaps you should consider a college that offers a number of different programs. For example, Lehigh Valley College has degrees that include criminal justice, fashion merchandising and massage therapy. You can narrow down your options to the ones available at a college you like and finish selecting from there. If you don’t love your major, change it. This is what you’re going to be doing for the rest of your life!
